wow what a weekend...where to start...for those that don't know one of my many jobs is coaching high school track/ x country, so this weekend we had a x country meet in so cal @ mt. sac junior college...

first stop...in n out...

got to the hotel, and of course you know how kids are once they get away from home...they were running around like chickens with their heads cut off...anywho, next day was the meet...

there were sooooo many people at this thing...it's the larges x-country meet in the world...over 19,000 kids between friday and saturday meaning 3 races at one time with a new race starting every 7 mins....it was insane...

all the kids did well...couple top 5 finishes...good times...oh wait it was hot, and we were sitting on a hill...

usually this meet is held during the kids homecoming, so they would have their own little homecoming the night after the meet, but this year it's later however they wanted to keep up the tradition...

the next day we woke up early and the kids went for a little run around cal poly...then it was off to disnyland...

holla...

everyone is welcome in the magic kingdom...

well on the way out one kid gets lost in the crowd while another kids busts his head open...

all i wanted to do was get some mickey mouse ears, but with all the drama the last 30min at disneyland i couldn't get them...luckly the kids were nice enough to buy me a pair...

these kids wore me out, but it was still a good time...till next year...

Dani Pedrosa has made one of the biggest mistakes ever seen in modern motorcycle grand prix racing - smashing into team-mate Nicky Hayden early in the Portuguese Grand Prix and destroying the American's world championship lead.Hayden came into the penultimate race of the season with a 12 point lead over Valentino Rossi, who is now leading the race from Camel Yamaha team-mate Colin Edwards. Hayden was third at the time of the accident, which occurred when Pedrosa lost the front of his Repsol Honda while trying to re-pass the American on the inside as they entered a left hand turn.The pass was never realistically going to work and Dani, having lost the front, slammed into the side of Hayden, sending them both cartwheeling into the gravel. Hayden was apoplectic with rage, removing his helmet and screaming with frustration. It must have taken every inch of his restraint to avoid throttling the young Spaniard, who appears to have broken a finger. Should Rossi win he will take a 13 point lead over Hayden into the Valencia season finale...

after waking up with one of worst hangovers ever i made the 2hr drive down to venice to see some fam, and the rogue boys...sorry to the peeps i didn't get to see i'll be back in a couple weeks... me + lost atm car + check - bank being open = going home early...
after seeing the fam i stopped off at the beach for a bit until my boy got off work...


venice beach reminds me of berkeley...soooo many random looking peeps...


if you're ever on the beach check this father n son act out...they're pretty rad...

you're allowed to to graff here at this spot without any hassle...as soon as peeps finished a piece someone was right behind them with a brush to cover it, and put up their own piece...

after the beach i made my way over to rex's pad to kick it for a bit before dinner...
